Use of the service

Darkstar Online is provided for authorized account holders to build, edit, and query Bayesian belief network models in the browser.

You may use the service only in compliance with applicable law and these terms.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for activity that occurs under your account.

Account access may depend on Spark limits, subscription status, billing standing, or other eligibility checks tied to your account.

You may not share your account, login credentials, or access with any other person or organization.

Spark, plans, and billing

Spark access, paid plans, renewals, lockouts, and recovery options are described on the plans and contact pages. Paid access may pause or end when a plan expires or payment fails, while Spark limits may remain available.

Spark does not require a payment method. Paid upgrades require a payment method through Stripe and authorization for the selected plan to renew until you cancel.

Rocket Vector may change plan prices, billing cadences, features, limits, or other paid plan terms at any time. Price changes may apply to future purchases, renewals, or billing periods, with notice or consent where required by law or payment-network rules.

All sales are final. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Early cancellation stops future renewals but does not create a right to a partial, prorated, or retroactive refund unless required by law or expressly offered in writing by Rocket Vector.

Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the service or interfere with its normal operation.
• Do not attempt unauthorized access to accounts, data, or infrastructure.
• Do not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, probe, scrape, test, or otherwise try to discover the source code, models, systems, or technical protections behind the service, except where applicable law prohibits that restriction.
• Do not circumvent security features, rate limits, authentication, authorization checks, or access restrictions.
• Do not share accounts, resell access, or make the service available to third parties.
• Do not use the service for unlawful, infringing, or abusive activity.

Your content

You retain responsibility for the models, data, and other materials you upload, create, or store through the service.

You grant Rocket Vector the limited rights needed to host, process, secure, and transmit that content to operate Darkstar Online for your account.

Availability and changes

Darkstar Online may change over time. Features, routes, account requirements, and plan terms may be updated, suspended, or discontinued.

The service is provided on an as-available basis, and uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

Rocket Vector may deny, suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the service or any account at any time, with or without notice, for any business, operational, security, or legal reason, to the extent permitted by law.

Rocket Vector may reject account registration, decline paid-plan access, or refuse service for any lawful reason. Payments remain non-refundable after suspension, termination, rejection, or refusal of service except where required by law or expressly offered in writing by Rocket Vector.

Changes to these terms

Rocket Vector may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Updated terms are effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated or additional notice or consent is required by law.

You are responsible for reviewing the current terms periodically. Continued access to or use of Darkstar Online after updated terms become effective means you accept the updated terms, to the extent permitted by law.

No warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rocket Vector provides Darkstar Online on an as-is and as-available basis. Rocket Vector does not warrant that the service, models, outputs, queries, layouts, exports, runtime, or account features will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.

Use at your own risk

You are responsible for the models, data, assumptions, evidence, parameters, queries, outputs, exports, and decisions you make using Darkstar Online. The service is not a substitute for professional judgment and should not be used as the sole basis for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other high-risk decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rocket Vector will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, lost-profit, lost-data, business-interruption, or similar damages arising from or related to your access to, use of, or inability to use Darkstar Online.

Liability cap

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rocket Vector's total liability for claims arising from or related to Darkstar Online will not exceed the amount you paid Rocket Vector for the service during the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred dollars if you used only Spark access during that period.

These limitations do not limit rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law.
